Test Rank 100 on Android
A closed test on Google Play.
Rank 100 is a party trivia game. Name one entry on a real top-100 list. Get as close to #100 as you can, without going over. It’s on iPhone today. Before the Android version can launch, Google Play needs real people to test it for at least two weeks. If you have an Android phone, we’d love your help.
Who can join
- You are 18 or older.
- Your Android phone has the Google Play Store.
- Your Google Play country is not in the EU or Brazil. Play goes by the country of your Google account, not where you are.
How to join
- In your phone’s browser, signed in with the same Google account your Play Store uses, open the Rank 100 tester group and tap Join group. If the group page shows a different account, tap the profile picture at the top right and switch.
- Open the Google Play test page and tap Become a tester.
- Install Rank 100 from the Google Play link on that page.
It can take a few minutes after you join the group before Become a tester works. Not sure which account your Play Store uses? Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
What we ask
- Every day, play the Daily Challenge (about 2 minutes; Home › Daily Challenge).
- At least once a week, host or join a party game with one or more friends. Friends on iPhone can join too.
- Once, have a look around Settings and Premium.
- Once, tell us one thing: in the app (Settings › Send feedback), in Google Play’s private feedback for testers, or at hello@rank100.app.
Stay in the group and the test until we email you that Android is live (we expect mid-November).
Good to know
- Premium in the test is free and temporary: test trials last minutes and test subscriptions stop renewing within hours. That’s expected, not a bug. You are never charged.
- The free version shows an ad between some rounds. Please don’t tap ads to help us; close them with the X.
Your privacy
- What we see: the name and email address of the Google account you join the tester group with.
- Why: only to run this test and to reply to you. We never link them to the anonymous account the app gives your phone.
- Who: Rank 100, at hello@rank100.app. The group runs on Google Groups. Other testers can’t see them.
- How long: we delete the tester group within 30 days after Android launches.
- How to leave: leave the group, and you leave the test. You can also leave from the Google Play test page.
What the app itself collects is in the privacy policy.
